Pipilotti Rist finally makes a feature film

Those familiar with Pipilotti Rist’s work know she is no stranger to a large screen. Having shown her work on the NBC Astrovision by Panasonic
video screen in Times Square to the walls of the MOMA. Pipilotti (otherwise known as Elisabeth Charlotte Rist) is a video artist, who lives and works in Zurich and Los Angeles. Her works (originally just super 8’s) are typically a few minutes long; playing with time, distorted sounds, and vivid colors.

Pepperminta is her first full-length film. As of now it is only scheduled to play at the Venice film festival.
